Update On Misdemeanor Battery Charge Against Nick Fuentes

After a woman accused far-right influencer Nick Fuentes of forcing her down the front steps of his Berwyn home and pepper spraying her last month, he is now facing a misdemeanour violence charge.

According to paperwork submitted to the Cook County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office on Wednesday, Fuentes was detained, fingerprinted, and released on November 27. Marla Rose filed the criminal complaint against him last week.

According to the complaint, Fuentes, 26, “knowingly made physical contact of an insulting nature” with Rose, 57, who is a writer and co-founder of a website that promotes a vegan diet.

Rose claimed that after learning that Nick Fuentes and she both reside in Berwyn, she made the decision to visit his house after his address appeared online.

Fuentes allegedly answered the door and doused Rose with what she believes to be pepper spray earlier than she could ring the doorbell.

Fuentes is accused of grabbing Rose’s cellphone, which she used to seize the incident, and bringing it into his residence. Later, Berwyn law enforcement officials located it.

Fuentes, a graduate of Lyons Township High School, is a white supremacist and Holocaust denialist who has lauded Adolf Hitler. Nick Fuentes had already had dinner at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago domestic with the president-choose.

On Friday afternoon, Fuentes hung up on a reporter. In social media posts, he made references to his arrest, which include one that purportedly featured his own mugshot.
