Does Lana Del Rey Use Witchcraft? Her Biblical Awareness

After being accused of employing witchcraft at one of her gigs, Lana Del Rey took a Christian influencer to church.

The singer of “Say Yes to Heaven” blasted Traci Coston after she shared a video on Instagram saying that “demonic energy” threw a crowd at a Del Rey show over. Over half a million people have watched the video, and 45,000 people have liked it.

“This is not normal… that is not a mosh pit,” Coston, who has over 200,000 followers, remarked in the video, pointing to a group of individuals who appear to be blown back from the stage, where Del Rey is singing while on her knees, and toppling one other.

Allegations Against Lana Del Rey

“Whatever witchcraft Lana Del Rey is performing, the spells she’s putting on her music to make it attractive,” Coston continued, warning viewers, “will welcome demons and will “destroy your life.” The woman asserted that she has exorcised spirits from those who visit “stuff like this.”

Requests for response from The Times were not immediately answered by Coston or Del Rey’s agents.

The Grammy contender has long been outspoken about her religious upbringing and protected her Christian identity against any misinterpretation. Growing up in Lake Placid, New York, she sung in a number of church choirs, she told Clash in 2011. She was a cantor at the church across the street and went to a Catholic elementary school.

Lana Del Rey has frequently been seen attending services at the Los Angeles location of Churchome, a megachurch with its headquarters in Kirkland, Washington, in recent years. Numerous other celebrities, including Kourtney Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ciara, and Russell Wilson, have attended its services, which are hosted at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.

Given his background as a contributing preacher with the controversial Hillsong Church and rumours of Smith’s prior anti-LGBTQ+ remarks, Smith’s involvement caused uproar among Lana Del Rey’s fan base.

Social media has been rife with unfounded allegations of anti-Christian views before Coston’s charges against Del Rey. Videos purporting to be of Lana Del Rey went viral in 2021 and showed people using lighters and burning a Bible over a campfire.

Lana Del Rey‘s prior remarks regarding witchcraft have been used as leverage against her by these Christian censors.
