A Florida TikToker, Galle, who caused the tragic crash in Palm Beach in 2022 and killed six farmworkers has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
According to WPTV 5, WCHS-TV, and the Palm Beach Post, 20-year-old Wellington resident Noah Galle made a plea agreement with prosecutors on Monday, January 6, to avoid a trial and earn a less sentence. Galle will be imprisoned for 12 years and 180 days. On six counts of vehicular homicide, he entered a guilty plea.
Galle, about the mishap
On January 27, 2022, Galle, the 17-year-old son of a Wellington lawyer, killed Michel Saint, 77; Marie Louis, 61; Remize Michel, 53; Vanice Percina, 29; Filaine Dieu, 46; and Mirlaine Julceus, 45, on U.S. Route 441.
At 151 mph, the 17-year-old’s BMW M5 “violently impacted” the rear of the victims’ Rogue, pushing the SUV’s rear “forward several feet into the passenger compartment,” according to a police report that PEOPLE previously acquired.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Galle would have been sentenced to at least 55 years in jail if his case proceeded to trial.
In accordance with the plea agreement, will serve seven years of probation after his jail term and have his driver’s license revoked for three years. In addition, he has to finish a 12-hour driving course, a victim impact panel, and 800 hours of community service.
